May the 4th | Supporting local book stores
Dear Reader,
There's a little change in my newsletter this month. New formatting. New look. But still the same deals from other authors, a new blog, and teasers for my books.
May the 4th, that social media tribute day to Star Wars, is just around the corner. A while back I was Supanova, a yearly Sydney Comic-Con event, and before I went a friend asked if I was going in Cosplay. I said, no, I'm just selling my books there. He gave me a weird stare and I realised there was something about this type of event I knew nothing about - dress ups!
So I took the opportunity to photograph some fabulous attendees holding my books. These three posed with the first of my TAYLeR Dystopian series about a future society addicted to social media.
Darth Vader fascinated with my bisexual hero.
At this event, a reader asked me about the sequel and I told him it was still a work in progress. It was, in fact, in it's very early stages. He bought Social Media Central because he loved reading a series which inspired me to dust off the sequel, Virtual Insanity, and finish it.
Words which make your eyes light up!
I've been on a mission most of this year. I've been getting smaller independent book stores to stock my titles, and searching for those who already offer my novels online. So when you visit my HOME PAGE, any of the Buy Links to my book pages include smaller businesses. So I urge you you keep these shop owners happy and order directly from them.

Thank you again for joining me on my writing journey. Next month is Pride Month, so keep an eye out for a lot of queer reading from various authors in my next newsletter.
Instead, I want to share several observations about a world where many live within the confides of their mind, rather than living in reality. It’s interesting that I write this today as we are off to a party at a friend’s place where no one is ever on their phones. At one gathering this friend had, a guest kept pulling hers out while we were trying to converse, so she was constantly told by the host to put the phone away.
